North Ridge Café and Bistro began as Eva’s dream from way, way before she can even remember…..only, like most dreams, she didn’t know when (or how) that dream might come true. Like many of our dreams, they easily get put on the shelf, particularly amidst the daily realities of having to earn a living and that’s what happened to Eva’s dream, and it began to gather dust.
After graduating from university in London Eva took up a career in construction project management, working on big projects with some of the UK’s premier construction consultancies, as well as completing her Master’s in her spare time. But something was missing in that world of construction and no matter how successful Eva was within it, she just wasn’t feeling fulfilled and that Eva-dream kept dusting itself off and knocking on her conscience.
Covid lockdowns in cold London were no fun, particularly since Eva now had her young son, Jesse, to consider and so they returned to Ghana – since Accra is a much nicer place to be ‘working from home’. And then serendipity struck, as Eva realised she actually preferred people to buildings and there was more than picking a regular salary from her project management career. So Eva talked her dream, quietly at first, out into the universe and, almost magically, things and people and encouragement came together to evolve into what you see now…..Eva’s North Ridge Café and Bistro dream.
Tucked on a cozy corner of town, North Ridge isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a vibe. Warm lights, real conversations, and food that feels like a hug. Think slow-cooked ribs, handmade pasta, and cocktails that actually hit. Whether it’s a date night or just Tuesday, this place makes it special. You’ll come for the food, but stay for the soul.
